Responsibilities:
- Assist the product development/ documentation team by providing 3D, 2D designs for HVAC equipment and devices.
- Develop fully parametric 3D models including parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies as per design requirements.
- Create 2D, BOM, manufacturing drawings and DXF as part of standard CAD package.
- Coordinate with design team and analysis team for necessary product changes.
- Produce defect free CAD models / drawings.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in CAD engineering with SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor.
- Good knowledge of sheet metal, part modeling, assembly modelling, parametric design.
Good to have:
- Good knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance).
- Experience on CAD management systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment’s like Rooftop products, ERV, AHU, VAV, FCU, Fan Blower, Dampers, Diffusers, Grills, Chilled Beams etc. will be added advantage.
- Exposure to project management techniques.
- Basic Knowledge of excel based VBA will be added advantage.
