As a Data Visualization Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
Job responsibilities:
- Apply critical thinking skills and perform advanced analytics with the goal of solving complex and multi-faceted business problems utilizing the firm's elected analytics and visualization platforms such as Python, QlikSense, Tableau and Alteryx.
- Gather the business/functional requirements and develop the technical specifications for the data analysis.
- Creates and leverages analytical approaches to perform analysis of domain specific source data to provide accurate conclusions, leading to the identification of improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate the current operational environment and identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics.
- Perform advanced quantitative and statistical analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can be used to improve business performance.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Working experience on analytical tools (QlikSense, Tableau, SQL, Python)
- Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting dashboards
- Possesses collaboration, partnership and influencing skills
- Experience in developing standardized solutions for data acquisition, transformation and analysis
- Perform advanced quantitative and statistical analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that can be used to improve business performance.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Alteryx/ Python/SQL to develop ETL pipelines
- Ability to drive projects end to end from requirement analysis, development, testing to closure
