Job Summary:
As a Lead Data Scientist within the Strategy and Execution team, you will develop insights and tracking mechanisms to support our Firmwide Data Strategy. You will work across various systems to identify data needs, design analyses, and synthesize insights for senior leadership. Your role involves applying statistical rigor and advanced data science methods across Cloud and on-premise systems, promoting decision-making through insight.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and delivery of data science-driven solutions to measure our Data Strategy progress.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their systems and processes.
- Develop structured insights from data analysis and modeling exercises about critical strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain data visualization tools for telemetry.
- Engineer machine learning solutions to automate telemetry systems.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in AI/ML/LLM/GenAI research and operate with a continuous-improvement mindset.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal training or certification as a Data Scientist and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Foundational knowledge of ML projects, both supervised and unsupervised.
- Strong programming skills with Python, R, or other equivalent languages.
- Strong solution ideation, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Familiarity with machine learning engineering and developing/implementing machine learning models within AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with the financial services industry.
