Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. We're proud to lead the U.S. in credit card sales and deposit growth and have the most-used digital solutions - all while ranking first in customer satisfaction.
The CCB Data & Analytics team responsibly leverages data across Chase to build competitive advantages for the businesses while providing value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines from data governance and strategy to reporting, data science and machine learning. We have a strong partnership with Technology, which provides cutting edge data and analytics infrastructure. The team powers Chase with insights to create the best customer and business outcomes.

As a Data Scientist Lead within the Focused Analytics Solutions Team, you will lead the design, build, and delivery of analytical solutions. You will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and developing the next generation of data and analytics talent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead teams of data scientists to develop, plan, and deliver end-to-end analytical projects.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader throughout project lifecycles.
- Guide project teams in synthesizing analytical findings for internal clients and executives.
- Establish and manage relationships with internal clients and partners.
- Recruit, develop, and retain talent by fostering open communication and growth.
- Set standards of excellence for the team through professional expertise and behavior.
- Maintain a rigorous controls environment to ensure accurate and timely results.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience in data science or business analytics roles.
- Experience leading project teams and mentoring early career talent.
- Foundational and applied knowledge of statistical, data science, and machine learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex information to non-technical clients and executives.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python, plus big data technologies such as Hive, Hadoop, etc.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Applied Math, Operations Research, Physics, Data Science).
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field.
- Familiarity with various analytical project types, including model deployment and maintenance.
- Direct people management experience.
- Financial services experience.
