The Data Manager will integrate various data sources, develop automation workflows, create Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with teams to manage data quality and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate data from laboratory, field, and historical sources into ERM databases and other data systems.
- Perform data transfer and conversion tasks, including PDF → Excel, CSV imports, formatting, and structuring datasets.
- Develop automation workflows by using AI- based tools to reduce repetitive manual processes.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards that support project insights, performance tracking, and client-facing reporting.
- Collaborate with project teams to plan sampling campaigns, manage deliverable schedules, and provide query/reporting support.
- Develop reporting dashboards and data visualizations for a wide variety of environmental projects.
- Coordinate with ERM and client-contracted laboratories to ensure data quality and reporting objectives are met.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, ERM colleagues, and subcontractors.
- Perform and manage multiple tasks within scope, budget, and schedule expectations while ensuring quality standards.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree in environmental science, data management, analytics, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data management with strong analytical and database skills.
- Skilled in Advanced Excel & Power BI.
- Experience using AI tools for process automation, document extraction, or workflow improvement.
- Ability to analyse data for logic, consistency, and quality throughout all stages of the project.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload independently and adapt to changing deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a computer-based, desk-oriented environment.
- Fluent English communication—both written and verbal.
