As a Data Management Associate - Data Risk Management at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring technology control procedures related to data risks, ensuring compliance with firmwide standards and regulatory requirements. You will also evaluate the performance of SGO applications against technical data related controls and assess data risk metrics to identify areas for improvement..

Job responsibilities

  • Review the requirements of Firmwide Technology Control Procedures related to data risks and validate if they are effectively implemented.
  • Monitor changes to technology control procedures related to data risks and perform analysis on the changes.
  • Evaluate the performance of Strategy Growth Office (SGO) applications against established technical data related controls.
  • Examine data metrics to identify any breaches related to technology control procedures and validate if remediation plan is in place. escalate to technology control team if necessary


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Leverage 2+ years of experience in executing technology control, particularly in data risk management.
  • Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to stakeholders.
  • Possess a basic understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Showcase the ability to analyze complex issues, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, with a solid understanding of controls and risk management experience.
  • Collaborate effectively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.
