About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic associate who likes to innovate and seeks complex problems to join the Client Experience Platform team in its Gurgaon India Development Centre. The team’s primary responsibilities are to leverage AI and data to build a platform which enables innovation, lead generation and maximize the commercial impact of BlackRock book of business. Responsibilities include:

It's a mix of backend application engineering (Python backend) including data engineering to build solution leveraging Data and AI capabilities

Collaborating in a multi-disciplinary squad involving program and product managers, data scientists, and client professionals to expand the product offering based on business impact and demand

Understanding capabilities offered by different AI models and orchestrate agentic flows.

Closely working with data engineer and data scientist to deliver solutions.

Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and latest developments in AI and data engineering, and incorporating them into our technical roadmaps
Minimum Skills & Experience needed for the role:
-
Bachelor in Engineering from a top tier college.

5+ years of related work experience, preferably working in a high-impact close knit data team within financial services

Expert level knowledge in Python is a must have preferably with exposure to Java and strong SQL skill with willingness to learn new tools technologies on job.

Experience with data engineering tooling and cloud warehouses like Snowflake.
-
Exposure to foundational LLM and embedding AI models.
-
Exposure to AI application development framework preferably Semantic Kernel or langchain.

Exposure of building RAG based solutions, prompt engineering, responsibly using AI like having groundedness.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, time management, organization, and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:

Experience with Azure cloud.

Experience with AzureOpenAI stack.
-
ETL tooling and workflow engines (e.g., Spark, Airflow)
-
Telemetry and related tools (metrics, event logging, tracing, etc.)
