About this Role
We're looking for a Data & Analytics Manager to build the analytics foundation that powers smarter decisions across Valerie. You'll own everything from tracking and data quality to dashboards, reporting, and deep-dive analysis. Your work will help our Product, Growth, Engineering, and Leadership teams understand what's happening, why it's happening, and what to do next. This isn't just a reporting role. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, uncovering opportunities, and building analytics systems that scale alongside the business.
You could be a great fit if...
You enjoy turning complex data into clear insights that drive business decisions.
You have a strong understanding of ecommerce analytics and enjoy exploring customer behaviour, conversion funnels, product performance, and marketing effectiveness.
You're highly proficient in GA4, Google Tag Manager, SQL, and dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau.
You naturally question the data and enjoy identifying tracking issues, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
You like building systems and processes that make data more reliable and accessible.
You can communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You enjoy working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Leadership to solve business problems.
You're proactive and don't wait to be asked for insights—you look for opportunities before others do.
You're excited about using AI and automation to improve how analytics is collected, interpreted, and shared.
Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, ideally within ecommerce or digital businesses.
Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), SQL, and Excel.
Experience building dashboards using Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of ecommerce metrics, attribution, customer journeys, and performance marketing.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or another quantitative field.
Bonus Points
Experience with Mixpanel, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, or Polaris Analytics.
Experience working in a high-growth startup or ecommerce environment.
Familiarity with AI-powered analytics or data automation tools.
You probably shouldn't apply if...
You prefer maintaining reports rather than uncovering insights and solving business problems.
You rely on clean, predefined datasets and aren't comfortable improving data quality or tracking.
You prefer working within highly structured environments with clearly defined processes.
You aren't excited about collaborating across multiple teams to influence business decisions.
