Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific project requirements or stages within the product lifecycle. The role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to effectively support clients and project teams. Throughout the day, collaboration with different stakeholders and continuous adaptation to evolving project needs are essential to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that align with organizational goals and client expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Strong experience in software configuration and customization within product lifecycle management environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues effectively.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
- Skilled in utilizing various tools and technologies to support software development and deployment.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
