Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements within the product lifecycle. This role requires engaging with various stages of software development, ensuring that solutions align with project goals and client needs. The workday often includes collaborating with team members to understand project objectives, troubleshooting issues, and refining software components to enhance overall system performance and reliability. Continuous adaptation to evolving project demands and contributing to the seamless integration of software solutions are key aspects of this role.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Assist in documenting software design and development processes to ensure clarity and maintainability.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.
- Continuously monitor and improve software performance and reliability through testing and debugging.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Experience with system integration and customization within product lifecycle management environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues effectively.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies relevant to product lifecycle management.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
