The Content Project Specialist role at Study.com involves supporting a talented international team of subject matter experts, content reviewers, and instructional designers to create high-quality, online educational resources to support our company mission of making education accessible to all. Successful candidates will be strong multi-taskers with exceptional English language abilities who can balance quality and efficiency as we work to produce world-class educational content.
The contractor will be expected to work during Study.com's Pacific Time business hours Monday - Friday. Additionally, they will need to use their own computer and have reliable access to high-speed internet.
What You'll Do:
- Support the development of course curriculum and instructional materials
- Onboard and support a team of SMEs and curriculum designers
- Consider and incorporate learning science principles and learning design best practices in curricular design
- Develop materials that meet the requirements of external review agencies and internal course design principles
- Use AI and other technology in innovative ways to improve efficiency and quality of curriculum development
- Provide clear and ongoing support, feedback, and troubleshooting for freelancers, including developing and maintaining detailed best practice documentation
- Monitor project productivity and address issues; continuously strive to improve productivity and quality
- Communicate production rates, obstacles, and resource requests to team lead proactively and propose creative solutions to emergent issues
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- 2-3 years experience in curriculum or instructional design or high school/college teaching roles
- minimum 1 year working in ed tech or digital curriculum
