Dynamics of the Role
We are looking for a proactive BI Operations Specialist to manage and support our BI infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our BI systems while maintaining data availability and integrity.
How You Will Contribute
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of BI systems and databases.
Manage user access, security, and permissions within BI platforms.
Perform regular data backups, disaster recovery testing, and system upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve BI system issues, including performance bottlenecks and data discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support BI deployments and changes.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, including runbooks and user guides.

What You'll Bring:

What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in BI operations, system administration, or database management.
Hands-on experience with BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
Strong knowledge of database administration (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with monitoring tools and BI system health checks.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices for incident and change management.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and data security practices.
