The position / About the Job:
Responsible for managing and developing business through channels (including wholesalers, distributors, agents, integrators for Hygienic Fluid Handling & Food Heat Transfer). Responsible for handling Key Account business. Hygienic Fluid Handling product range includes pumps, valves, tube fittings, tank cleaning machines and Agitators. Typically industries we serve includes Dairy, Food, Beverage, Brewery, Pharma , personal and home care.
Region- North & North East including Bangladesh and Nepal .
Channel Sales Manager will be responsible to –
- Formulate, implement, and update the sales plan for assigned products, services ,and channels.
- Update and implement business channels agreements for appointed wholesalers and distributors, together with his manager.
- Analyze and understand market insights, the buying behaviors, and the function of Channel Partners way to the markets in order to support the channel to grow the sales.
- Identify key factors to grow the sales at each channel and to motive the channel to prioritize Alfa Laval product sales.
- Drive Value selling and technical differentiation actions through channels to meet sustainability criteria Alfa Laval.
- Be active in the market and focus on making visits, and train channels and make sure they have the right and relevant tools to achieve sales targets.
- Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.
- Monthly Forecasting for the said region for all channels and driving sales through channels .
- Follow Channel Management Alfa Laval process and work on analyzing Quote Logs/ secondary sales and score boards of channels for market coverage, application and product coverage of respective region in which channel is operating.
- Handling Global Key account at plant locations in this region.
- Owner of the business in North & Northeast
What you can be –
- 4-9 years of overall functional experience in Sales, Sales support, and Proposals for capital goods.
- BE Mechanical /Chemical Engineer Preferred.
- Industry experience: from process engineering, manufacturing, equipment supply
- Directly/indirectly working with Food/Pharma/Sugar/Starch/Distillery/Food processing / Steel/ Power/ Chemical/ Manufacturing Customers in previous organization.
