Develops and maintains applications to meet the business needs of the organisation. Covers the performance and monitoring of day-to-day database and system activities as well as the provision of remote support to users regarding hardware and software problems.

IT Advancement & Design (ITA) comprises further development of information technologies and IT platforms for business solutions and services. Covers driving of proactive needs analysis ensuring that business needs, demands and challenges are well understood, and that business execution plans and capabilities are delivered on time and within budget. Contains management of demands and priorities while assuring alignment with the corporate strategy and budget. Comprises optimisation, harmonisation, and implementation of Nokia's IT environment and systems by providing area specific knowledge. Covers representation of the whole IT organisation to global or regional business stakeholders and user communities. Works closely with the different service providers that are part of the IT eco-system, governs their performance, and acts as main interface between IT and the business including incident escalations. Comprises identification of opportunities for process and concept development as well as improvements. Covers planning and managing of the development, testing, and implementation of process / concept improvements and system changes at own responsibility area. Contains translation of requirements into system terminology and functionality as well as the delivery of process and system end-user training.
Responsibilities
• Supports cross-functional teams involved in driving process development, improvement and maintenance.
• Facilitates end-to-end process implementation and solution concept creation across the company.
• Support, communicates and coaches on Nokia business process management, process documentation guidelines and tools.
• Designs and documents the process in line with modelling standards and guidelines; process models and process information are captured in the corporate enterprise architecture repository based on prioritised activities.
• Identifies, analyses and defines potential improvement areas of processes end-to-end compliant with existing process architecture and guidelines.
• Documents and manages IT’s process landscape and maintain process repository. Communicates and trains the processes. Supports other IT teams with related questions.
• Supports to aligning and translating the business needs into required process change proposals.
• Collaborates with the process owners / process managers to design and define end-to-end processes.
• Works with substantial discretion and uses specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements.
• Acts as a specialist in a team, who serves as best practice resource and / or is recognised as an expert within the same professional area in the business.
