Business Development Representative Intern responsible for outbound prospecting through calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels; qualifying leads; scheduling meetings and demos; maintaining CRM records; researching markets and competitors; following up with prospects; gathering customer feedback; and contributing to outreach and pipeline goals. The role provides training in B2B SaaS, consultative selling, CRM management, and enterprise sales, with potential full-time conversion based on performance.

About the Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) Intern, you will be the first point of contact for prospective clients and play a key role in helping companies discover how Nova Benefits can improve employee healthcare and wellness. You will work closely with experienced sales professionals, learn modern B2B SaaS and consultative selling techniques, and gain exposure to conversations with HR leaders, Finance teams, and business decision-makers across some of India's fastest-growing companies.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within a fast-growing technology startup.
What You'll Do
- Reach out to prospective clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other outbound channels.
- Qualify leads by understanding their business needs and employee benefits requirements.
- Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for the Business Development team.
- Clearly communicate Nova Benefits' value proposition to prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and update lead information regularly.
- Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities.
- Gather customer feedback and share actionable insights with the Product and Sales teams.
- Meet daily outreach targets and contribute to pipeline generation.
- Work towards achieving outreach, meeting, and pipeline generation goals.

- Final-year students or recent graduates from any discipline.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-driven, disciplined, and eager to learn.

- Comfortable engaging with HR, Finance, and business leaders over calls and virtual meetings.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic understanding of sales, business development, or customer-facing roles is an added advantage.
