Develop government and PSU accounts across Delhi-NCR by researching decision-makers, identifying software and digital opportunities, visiting offices, delivering prepared proposals, pitching projects, securing meetings, persistently following up, and tracking activity in the CRM until work orders are issued.
We need a field BD person who walks into government
offices in Delhi-NCR and gets us in front of the officer who
can sign off a project, as part of our push to establish
SYMB as a trusted partner to government departments
and PSUs for public sector opportunities. The Presales
team handles roughly half the work — researching each
account and preparing the report you carry in; your half is
getting in front of the right person, pitching it well, and
closing the file
Research — Build account-level intelligence on target offices —
structure, budget cycles and likely decision-makers
Find out how each office buys: who signs, what paperwork
they need, and what the approval chain looks like
Discover—
Spot live opportunities that match SYMB’s offerings —
accessibility, cyber security, portal/app upgrades, training
and LMS
Scout—

Visit 3–5 government offices a day across Delhi-NCR:
ministries, departments, PSUs, district administration
Get past the PA and identify the right decision-maker
Pitch—

Hand over SYMB’s ready report and explain it in plain
language
Pitch a scoped, quick-turnaround project sized to move
fast through that office’s approval process
Set Up Meetings—
Secure follow-up meetings, chase the file in person until
the work order is issued, and log every step in the CRM the
same day
Requirements
2+ years of door-to-door or field sales experience
Fluent Hindi and English, spoken and written
Based in Delhi-NCR, or willing to relocate before
joining
Comfortable with persistent follow-up and re
visiting
Own transport or comfortable using metro/cabs
daily
Basic computer skills: email, WhatsApp, CRM, PDF
Bachelor’s degree in any stream
GOOD TO HAVE
Worked inside or sold to a government office
before
Existing contacts with government officials in NCR
Familiar with GeM and public procurement norms
Prior experience selling software.
