Position: Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services supporting complex business and technology initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive business analysis services to support diverse business and technology needs.
  
• Engage with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  
• Prepare and provide guidance on business analysis policies, processes, best practices, and standards.
  
• Lead and conduct business analysis activities to assess business challenges and opportunities.
  
• Document business requirements in a manner that supports effective solution design and implementation.
  
• Apply business process re-engineering concepts to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  
• Conduct business analysis throughout all project phases at appropriate levels of detail.
  
• Develop business strategies, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and feasibility studies.
  
• Facilitate requirements gathering through workshops, JAD sessions, interviews, mockups, and other techniques.
  
• Create business models, use case models, conceptual and logical data models, process flows, and business rules documentation.
  
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders and management.
  
• Develop performance measurement frameworks and traceability matrices to evaluate business analysis outcomes.

• Experience developing business strategies, business cases, and feasibility assessments.
  
• Expertise in requirements gathering techniques and stakeholder engagement.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within team environments and meet project deadlines.
  

Experience

• Experience developing business strategies, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses.
  
• Experience gathering requirements and producing business documentation, presentations, and briefing materials.
  
• Experience conducting stakeholder consultations and engagement activities.
  
• Experience using Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
  
• Awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies.
  

Technical Experience

• 10+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst.
  
• Experience conducting requirements gathering and producing business documentation.
  
• Experience with business process re-engineering and transformation initiatives.
  
• Experience developing business cases, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses in complex project environments.
  
• Experience with business functional modeling, business event modeling, and business process mapping.
  
• Experience creating GUI designs, user interfaces, and mockups using tools such as Balsamiq.
  
• Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD), Unified Modeling Language (UML), and CASE tools.
  
• Experience working with Document Management Systems and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
  
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide technology environments.
  

System Requirements Experience

• Ability to collaborate with business and development teams to define and document functional requirements.
  
• Experience creating business cases, screen designs, business process models, privacy-related documentation, risk-related assessments, and architecture-related deliverables.
  
• Experience supporting Business Architecture initiatives.
  

Desirable Skills

• Experience using information retrieval tools and technologies.
  
• Knowledge of Information Management principles, policies, and best practices.
  
• Ability to translate business and data requirements into technical specifications.
  
• Experience with business functional modeling, business event modeling, and business process mapping techniques.
  
• Experience working with structured, object-oriented, and Agile methodologies.
  
• Experience developing business analysis performance measures and follow-up processes.
  
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and regulations.
  

Work Arrangement

• 5 Days Onsite
  

Must Have

• 10+ years of experience working in a Business Analyst capacity with clearly demonstrated project experience.
