As a Business Analyst, You are looking for an opportunity to bring your exceptional communication and requirements-gathering skills to a high-impact team at a dynamic company. You  thrive in a collaborative environment and excel at bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You are a proactive communicator, adept at engaging with stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Your strong analytical skills enable you to translate complex functional requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications. With your experience in business analysis and proficiency in Tableau and SQL, you are able to develop dashboards and provide insightful data visualizations to support decision making processes.

- Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives. Facilitate workshops and meetings to capture business requirements effectively.

- Document detailed functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications that serve as a blueprint for dashboard development for the data team.

- Maintain clear and accurate documentation that supports both project management and technical development. Experience with Agile methodologies, including participation in sprint planning, management, and retrospective meetings.

Utilize your strong command of SQL to think through how to:

- (a) translate business requirements into informed design decisions

- (b) build your own Tableau dashboards, when needed.

- Collaborate closely with other members of the data team to ensure that Tableau dashboards and reports are developed according to the required technical specifications. Participate in the testing/QA phase to ensure outputs meet business needs. 

Stakeholder Communication: 

- Serve as a key liaison between business units and the data team. Ensure that all parties are aligned on project goals and updates. Translate technical details into business-relevant communications and vice versa.

- Recommend improvements to business processes, data resources, and dashboard functionalities based on stakeholder feedback and your own analysis of existing systems and processes.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3+ years of experience in Tableau & SQL

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets.

- Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced functions and formulas.

- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and a keen ability to translate complex business requirements into a set of technical specifications that Tableau developers can reference in their work.

- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills are required.

- Advanced Tableau skills are required.

- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
