Job Overview:
Responsible for driving key business processes with Agile methodology expertise. This role will have a direct impact on the efficiency and effectiveness of the intake process, focusing on the creation of frameworks, managing data concerns, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.
As a BA/PM, you will be integral to tracking and managing individual deliverables (DCs) through the intake process while continuously reviewing and improving the process. This role will offer opportunities at both leadership levels (Workstream Leads/Principal Consultants) and Analyst levels (Consultants/Senior Consultants), allowing for a broad range of responsibilities across the team.
Responsibilities:
For Workstream Leads (Managing Principal/Principal Consultants):
- Lead Framework Creation: Develop and implement frameworks and infrastructure to streamline the intake process.
- Process Oversight: Handle the day-to-day management of tracking individual DCs' progress through intake, ensuring smooth transitions and timely deliveries.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of the intake process, gathering feedback, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and implementing process improvements.
- Risk & Data Concerns: Identify and manage data concerns, risks, and potential roadblocks throughout the intake process, and provide solutions to mitigate these risks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of progress, changes, and challenges in real time.
- RCA: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for any delays or inefficiencies in the intake process and recommend corrective actions.
- Data Processing Management: Oversee data processing activities, ensuring proper alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
For Analysts (Consultants/Senior Consultants):
- Support Data Concern Intake: Process individual Data Concerns through the intake process by evaluating if it is a proper data concern, evaluating all necessary information is available, and secure sign off when moving to Assess
- Communication with Stakeholders: Help maintain communication channels with business stakeholders, providing updates and gathering input on process improvements.
- Analyze Business Requirements: Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into actionable solutions that support the overall intake framework.
- Data & Analytics Support: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure that business needs are translated into effective data and analytics solutions.
- Risk Awareness: Assist in identifying potential risks and data concerns during the intake process, escalating issues as needed.
- Continuous Feedback Loop: Gather feedback on the intake process from stakeholders and support the implementation of process enhancements based on this input.
Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- Business-Facing Experience: Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Agile Expertise: Solid understanding and practical experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), including familiarity with Agile ceremonies and deliverables.
- Business Process Understanding: Proven experience in working through Data process operating model, analyzing and improving business processes, driving efficient and effective outcomes.
- Data & Analytics Knowledge: Exposure to data processing, data management, and analytics principles, especially in relation to business requirements.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify risks related to data processing and intake, with experience in managing or mitigating these risks.
Nice-to-Have:
- Technical Experience: Knowledge of technical systems or platforms, particularly in the areas of data and analytics.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Experience conducting RCA to understand issues within business processes and recommend corrective actions.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices in project management, business analysis, and data management.
