BI analyst -Graphic Designer
Noida
Rockwell is looking for an all-rounder BI Analyst -Graphic Designer to join an agile team to build and support the ongoing enterprise Power platform solutions and databases.
Role Purpose:
- Designs, implements, and maintains Power BI solutions for global use.
- You should be passionate about understanding existing Power BI/Power Platform solutions.
- You should understand the current architecture, be open to learning new technology stacks, and be highly organized.
- Additionally, you should be with hands-on experience building end-to-end complex applications.
- You have expertise in Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint Lists, and SQL Server.
- Understand Microsoft Power Platform components, like Power App, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. Additionally, the candidate should to work on various areas, including GUI, web front-end, Power Query, Dataverse, and back-end databases like SharePoint Lists and Azure SQL server.
Your Responsibilities:
- A Graphic Designer for Power App UI and other Application creates visually appealing and user-friendly designs for Power Apps screens that align with our branding and usability standards.
- You will bridge visual design and functional UI development, ensuring that the app interface enhances user experience while maintaining consistency across the company portal.
- Work with subject matter experts to understand existing Power Apps source code and architecture.
- Responsible for understanding, designing, and implementing power platform solutions.
- These solutions include Office 365 Power Automate (Flow), Power Apps, Power BI applications, and solutions along with Microsoft SQL server database tables. Additionally, I am responsible for SQL query writing.
- Maintain documentation for architecture and source code
- Perform software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Implement custom solutions that leverage Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps and other Office 365 applications and services.
- Contribute to and promote good software engineering practices across the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve system problems and customer issues
- Well versed in Agile practices
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any other Engineering or graduates, with concentration in software
- A graphic designer must be comfortable with the Figma interface and its core features:Figma Skills
- Navigate frames, layers, artboards, and groups
- Design with shapes, images, gradients, blend modes and filters
- Text formatting and style management
- Use Auto Layout to build responsive compositions
- Create reusable components, variants, and design patterns
- Handle exports (PNG, SVG, JPG) for web/app use cases
- Build design systems, colour styles, iconography and typographic scales
- Manage libraries and shared components across teams
- Use Figma plugins to boost productivity (e.g., icon libraries, color tools)
- Visual design (typography, colour, layout, and iconography)
- Expert in Figma (layers, frames, vectors, auto layout, components, variants)
- Create design systems and reusable UI assets
- Good collaboration: comments, sharing, file structure, developer handoff
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for, user-centred visuals
- Prototype basic interactions for presentations
- Learning by Figma Community & design courses
