Job Description

Reporting Segment: Insurance Valuation

Lead the software quality assurance lifecycle as a key part of the development team’s Agile process.

Design and implement test strategies, plans, and cases to maintain a high level of product quality and reliability.

Execute test automation, analyze results, and create defects as appropriate.

Collaborate with development, product, and client-facing teams to understand and triage test and defect priorities.
Job Qualifications:
Job Requirements:

Experience working as an automation QA engineer.
-
Experience leading test efforts, including making decisions on test plans, key areas of test coverage, scope of test runs appropriate for different cases/schedules such as daily run vs. full regression, etc.

Experience testing both SOAP/XML and REST/JSON APIs.

Experience with test automation via ReadyAPI.
-
Knowledge of testing software within cloud-based environments (Google Cloud).

Experience working with Agile development methodologies (Sprints, Scrum, Stand-Ups).
Optional Skills:
-
Experience in understanding software systems and troubleshooting to create high quality defects and better collaborate with the development team is a plus.

Experience with performance test automation.

Some knowledge of MS-SQL and Elastic is a plus.
