To ensure the platform continuously evolves by identifying gaps, inefficiencies, and quality risks, and by governing the safe use of automation and AI, while remaining fully aligned with audit standards, regulatory expectations,
Key Responsibilities / Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and quality risks within workflows and features
- Translate real audit pain points into clear, actionable improvement recommendations
- Work closely with product and technology teams to deliver audit-aligned enhancements
- Ensure platform remains aligned with
- Audit methodology updates
- Regulatory and inspection expectations
- Identify audit activities suitable for automation (rule-based, judgment-free)
- Define where AI can assist auditors (risk identification, review support, research)
- Clearly distinguish between:
- Automation
- AI-assisted judgment
- Human-only audit decisions
- Ensure all AI usage is:
- Explainable
- Auditor-controlled
- Inspection-safe
- Ensure continuous alignment with audit standards
- Enhance Orion associates’ knowledge through real-time audit guidance and mentoring
- CPA (US) or ACA / ACCA (with Big 4 experience)
- 10–15 years of external audit experience
- Experience with Big 4 or large global audit firms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for technology and audit innovation
- Strong hands-on knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
- Practical experience applying:
- ISA
- US GAAS
- PCAOB standards
- Experience in complex accounting areas:
- Estimates and judgments
- Revenue recognition
- Consolidation
- Financial instruments
- Audit transformation or innovation experience
- Exposure to regulatory inspections or peer reviews
- Familiarity with audit tools and data analytics platforms
- Experience with automation, analytics, or continuous audit concepts
- Comfortable working with product and technology teams
- ESG / SOX / internal audit familiarity
Thought leadership, training, or methodology development experience
