Draft, analyze, vet, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements and transaction-related legal documents. Advise clients on transactional matters, corporate law, regulatory compliance, and contract risks. Track contract lifecycles, deadlines, milestones, repositories, and related correspondence while staying current on legal developments. Collaborate with teams, deliver accurate work, meet deadlines, and strategize transactions effectively.
Contract
Drafting and Vetting:
- Drafting
and analyzing agreements above ensuring precision, accuracy, and adherence to
legal standards and timelines.
- Reviewing
and vetting contracts to identify potential risks, inconsistencies, and areas
for improvement, providing recommendations as necessary.
- Possessing
in-depth understanding of corporate laws, ensuring legal documents comply with
regulatory and statutory requirements.
Legal
Advisory:
- Providing
legal advice to clients on a broad spectrum of transactional matters and allied
legal issues.
- Staying up-to-date with legal industry trends,
developments, and changes in laws related to transaction advisory, commercial
agreements, and relevant sectors.
Negotiation
- Conducting
negotiations on behalf of clients to safeguard their interests and secure
favorable terms within contractual arrangements.
Contract Management
- Implementing
a comprehensive contract management system to track contract lifecycle,
deadlines, and key milestones.
- Maintaining
a repository of the contracts, related documents, and correspondence.
Qualifications
and Skills:
- Bachelor’s
degree in law
- Minimum
of 3 years’ experience in transaction advisory and drafting of commercial
agreements.
- Strong
drafting, research, and verbal communication skills.
- Skills in
strategizing a Transaction and providing appropriate advisory.
- Excellent
attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and error-free content.
- Expertise
in transactional and contractual terminology and concepts.
- Ability
to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
