We are currently looking for an experienced Angular Developer with demonstrated technical experience with Java technologies to join the team in India, within our global Technology department. If this sounds interesting to you and you are skilled in JavaScript/JQuery/HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/SQL/AWS/Java/Kotlin, we would love to speak with you. 

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments 

  • Bachelor's degree in BE/Btech or similar field.

  • At least 5+ developing web-based applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, SQL Server and related technologies. 

  • Exposure to Cloud native technologies and integration patterns.

  • Experience in writing Unit test cases.

  • Good understanding of software development principles, including Distributed Systems, object-oriented programming, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.

  • Working knowledge of version control e.g., GIT, etc

  • Experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, and RDS.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Exposure to Docker, and Linux is a plus.

It would be great if you also have: 

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins

  • Ability to think through a problem at a conceptual level and propose solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Keen desire to learn, stretch, and a never-give-up attitude.

  • Very strong interpersonal skills and an easygoing personality.

  • Highly proactive, result-oriented, and a team player.

  • Ability to stay current with new technology.

  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through; process-oriented

What will you be doing in this role?

You will work closely with your agile team to create high-quality, innovative, and intuitive solutions to challenging and complex business problems. To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical and analytical skills to be applied to overcome challenges that arise when working across multiple technologies. You will harness your creativity to help develop solutions that consider our users and aim to significantly improve the productivity of their workday.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices and coding standards.

  • Develop and maintain unit integration tests that are part of an automated continuous integration pipeline.

  • Work closely with other stakeholders (e.g., QA, Product, UX, DevOps) to release high-quality software.
    Participate in group improvement activities and initiatives to improve process and product quality in pursuit of excellence.

  • Collaborate with on-and-off site teams.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development, testing, and production.

  • Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in software development.

About the Team   

The Disease Intelligence Authoring (Editorial)  development team, which comprises 10 skilled members. Our team specializes in various technologies, including Angular, Java, Python, AWS, and SQL. We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions and continuously enhancing our expertise in these areas.

Hours of Work   

45 hours per week, full-time employment, Hybrid
