The Corporate Actions team is responsible for the collection and maintenance of high-quality data across a wide range of financial markets and asset classes. The analysts are required to source the information from the public domains/contributors defined and ingest/enter the information into database using proprietary collection methodology including the benefit information. This information is time critical and requires to be processed within the set timeline and quality parameters.

  
Process and maintain data/information accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using financial and technical knowledge.

• Take responsibility for data quality, timeliness, and completeness, this includes root cause analyses and preventive measure implementation.

• Research new and review existing sources to ensure that quality, timeliness, and automation are improved.

• Promote continuous improvement through research and analysis of queries/data quality control and seek efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation where possible.

• Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices in relevant markets and Monitor market events to anticipate the changes.

• Research and respond quickly to all client issues, adhering to quality goals for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

• Effectively communicate with all relevant collaborators

 
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities: 

·       Reciprocate the queries received through chat room, service cloud and emails 

·       Conduct detailed investigation and respond if it is a search and explanation queries and make basic corrections in case of DC cases which require short time to fix. 

·       Liaise with Production teams to get queries resolved. 

·       Gathering, analyzing and applying information to existing databases; supporting the development of new databases 

·       Supporting the team in building stronger process and systems knowledge. 

·       Ensures effective communication of information relevant to own area of responsibility re: changes, developments, news.  

·       Shares a point of view & creativity in developing new methods of working which focus on cost-effectiveness & resource efficiency.  

·       Maintains up to date data set expertise & works to develop further content & technical knowledge. 

·       Supports multiple projects at once, taking load off Content Specialist on Medium and low profile projects/enhancements 

·       Have a thorough understanding of C2C standards and conduct audits from time to time and uphold those standards with the team.

·       Liaise with Content Analysts/Associate Content Analysts on various queries with varying degree of complexity and help them resolve it.

·       Ensures the quality and time-efficient production of financial information to F&R (Refinitiv) products. 

·       Responds to data queries from both internal and external clients and provides support to collaborators. 

·       Facilitate problem solving on data and product issues, including database infrastructure and maintenance procedures knowing who to involve and when. 

·       Works with and involves multi-functional teams to provide Root Cause Analysis to identify solutions in problem areas.  

·       Identifies potential data improvements and consults with content Specialist for possible implementation. 

·       Provides ongoing training to the team, always with a team-oriented attitude. 

·       Ensures timely and successful implementation of content enhancements. 

·       Effectively maintains and manages relationships with internal and external collaborators.

·       Monitor various reports on service cloud to avoid potential ERT and timeliness breaches. Work with and involve multi-functional teams to expedite client queries that are taking time to resolve

·       Train existing members of staff to reduce dependency on production teams for some of the repeated queries

·       Contribute to RCAs to be provided to the quality team

·       Manage and take ownership of the resolution process for all customer related Escalations. 

·       Liaise with other SMAs in the SMA forum to seek efficiencies in work practices or achieve automation by seeing opportunities.

·       Research new and review existing sources to ensure that quality, timeliness and completeness scores are improved.

·        Train new members of staff; provide product and/or database training to staff members

Required Skills: 

·       Good PC skills and adapt at managing content and technical issues

·       Excellent timekeeping, ability to work to deadlines and manage under pressure is a must.

·       Good communication skills, oral and written, including customer-focused behavior and ethics.

·       Precision, thoroughness, customer management skills.

·        Knowledge of SQL and Advanced Excel can be an advantage.

·       Excellent problem-solving skills.

·       Individual accountability and team ethics.

·       Knowledge on the working of service cloud and incident management. 

·       Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is an ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines.  

·       Knowledge on Financial markets, with a solid focus on Bonds and cash instruments 

·       Ability to work effectively within a team environment. 

·       Well versed with MS Office applications, especially MS Excel. 

·       Oral and Written communication skills, and the ability to clearly and concisely convey         information to all levels of an organization. 

·       Intermediate collaborator management skills, presentation and competitive analysis

. Flexible in working in shift.
