The Associate Manager - HR Operations oversees HR processes in APAC, ensuring compliance, managing employee lifecycles, and driving process improvement initiatives.
Numerator is looking for an Associate Manager – HR Operations to oversee and drive
efficient HR processes across the APAC regions. This role will lead regional HR
operational activities, ensuring compliance, consistency, and excellence in service
delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong HR operations experience, a global mindset,
and the ability to manage complex cross-regional projects and teams.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
● Oversee end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, changes,
transfers, exits) across APAC countries.
● Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of employee data in HR systems.
● Manage employment documentation, including contracts, amendments, and
statutory letters.
● Partner with payroll teams to ensure accurate monthly payroll inputs and
compliance.
Compliance & Governance
● Ensure compliance with local labor laws and statutory requirements across
APAC.
● Maintain and update HR policies in line with regional legal requirements.
● Support internal and external audits by ensuring proper documentation and
controls.
● Monitor changes in employment legislation and implement necessary updates.
HR Systems & Reporting
● Act as a regional HRIS subject matter expert.
● Ensure data integrity and generate HR reports and analytics as required.
● Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
● Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to support
organizational needs.
● Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies and
processes.
● Collaborate with global HR teams to align regional practices with global
standards.
Process Improvement & Projects
● Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize HR processes across APAC.
● Lead or support regional and global HR transformation initiatives.
● Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation. Experience & Skills
● 7-8 years of HR experience with regional exposure in APAC and/or .
● Strong understanding of regional labor laws and HR compliance.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
● Strong people management and influencing skills
● Cultural awareness and adaptability
● Analytical mindset and attention to detail
● High level of professionalism and confidentiality
● Experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR policy
development.
● Background in a multinational or fast-paced environment is preferred.
● Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to manage priorities across time zones and build strong cross-cultural
relationships.
Education:
● MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Skills:
● Strong knowledge of APAC countries like - Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand,
Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia & South Korea labor laws and compliance
requirements.
