Role: Assistant Controller

Team: Accounting

Location: US Remote

Travel: none anticipated

What you’ll own in this role

  • Manage/complete monthly close with responsibility over various areas, including the following:
    • Payroll accounting
    • COR / OPEX transactions and allocations
    • Prepaid expenses, accruals
    • Fixed Assets
    • Lease and sublease management
    • Debt
    • Capitalized labor / internal use software
    • Cash transactions and investment activity
  • Manage/complete international accounting processes and operations
    • Day-to-day international accounting processes and journal entries
    • Statutory audits
    • Intercompany transactions
    • Assist in developing, implementing and managing Intercompany Services Agreements (ISA) and transfer pricing policies
    • Manage/oversee accounting impact of internal/external 3rd Party relationships
    • Hosting tagging and tracking for COR/OPEX allocations
    • Revenue share / royalty determinations and accruals
    • Provide support requested by 3rd party advisors related to tax/controls/audits/etc.
    • 1099 management
    • Capitalized labor management
    • Serve as a leader and mentor over direct reports

What you’ll bring to this role

  • Advanced Excel and ERP experience (Workday preferred, but not required)

Education & Relevant Experience

  • Accounting or Finance degree required (MAcc or MBA preferred)
  • CPA is required
  • 3-5 years public accounting experience
