About the role
Sanctuary builds nature - led, wellness - centered communities that feel alive. We are a US-based real estate development company creating homes and spaces that blend design, nature, and human connection. Our first 135 acre residential community in the Texas Hill Country is designed with:
🌱 Non-toxic materials
💧 Clean water and filtration systems
⚡ EMF-conscious design
🌿 135 acres of preserved land and eco - sensitive planning
We are a global team (spread across 8 countries) of designers, architects, engineers, and dreamers building spaces that restore and inspire. For us, it’s not just where people live - it’s how they live.
Our vision is to bring Sanctuary to major cities around the world: healthy, sovereign communities that sit on the edges of every modern metropolis.
We're hiring an Architect who can hold both the big picture and the fine detail at once. This role sits at the intersection of large-scale site planning and precise architectural execution - someone who can move fluidly between master planning decisions and the specifics of individual residential or commercial assets. You'll act as the connective tissue between leadership, design teams, and external partners, keeping everything technically aligned and moving forward. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing large-scale site planning while simultaneously refining the design details of specific residential and commercial assets.
What you'll work on
Masterplanning & Site Planning
Support the development of large-scale masterplans across residential, hospitality, wellness, and mixed-use developments.
Assist with site analysis including circulation studies, unit placement, density considerations, topography, and land-use planning.
Contribute to the integration of landscape, open spaces, pedestrian movement, and public realm strategies into the broader masterplan vision.
Participate in feasibility and area-efficiency studies to support early-stage planning decisions.
Architectural Design & Coordination
Support the conceptual planning and spatial development of residential clusters and community assets such as wellness centers, clubs, gyms, and hospitality spaces.
Develop architectural layouts from early concepts through coordination-ready drawing packages.
Coordinate with architecture, engineering, visualization, and external consultant teams to ensure alignment across design updates and project requirements.
Evaluate layouts and planning strategies to improve circulation, usability, and area efficiency while maintaining the overall design intent.
Assist in organizing project documentation and ensuring smooth handovers between teams.
Design Communication & Execution Support
Collaborate with internal design and graphic teams to develop presentations, diagrams, and project decks.
Support coordination with external vendors, consultants, and fabricators during design development and execution phases.
Translate high-level design direction and business requirements into organized architectural outputs and actionable next steps.
What we're looking for:
Strong proficiency in Revit and Rhino or Dynamo.
Strong architectural planning and spatial thinking abilities.
Ability to work across multiple projects and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of architectural coordination, engineering integration, and construction documentation workflows.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to design, terrain, or project changes.
Preferred background:
Experience working on large-scale residential or mixed-use master plans
Exposure to wellness, nature-led, or design-forward real estate projects
Prior experience coordinating across architecture, engineering, and construction teams
Prior exposure to US-based projects, or comfort working within US design and zoning frameworks
Hiring process
Stage 1: Initial screening call
Stage 2: Technical task/assignment
Stage 3: Final interview with the hiring team
