Overview of Role66degrees is seeking a senior contractor to engage on a 19-week remote assignment for 45 hours per week with potential to extend. Interested candidates should have the following required skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Qualifications- 8+ years of experience designing, architecting, and implementing microservices architecture.
- 2+ years of experience in designing architecture.
- Deep knowledge of software architecture in distributed systems.
- Able to conduct code reviews and mentor software engineers.
- 5+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications.
- Experience in both front-end and back-end development (must have deeper experience in backend development, but familiarity and exposure with full-stack development required).
- Proficient in Java (8 to 17).
- Proficiency in developing applications on the Google Cloud Platform suite of products and services (or equivalent cloud), primarily with serverless architectures is nice to have.
- Must have experience with Spring boot and React.
- Familiar with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
- Familiar with the scrum process and Git.
- Experience establishing CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Background in professional services/consulting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Eager to work in a collaborative environment.
