Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable .NET backend APIs and middleware to integrate the Zeta platform. Implement cloud-native solutions on Azure (APIM, Functions, Logic Apps), ensure API security (OAuth2/JWT), work with SQL/NoSQL data stores, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in Agile delivery.
We are seeking a highly skilled API Backend Developer with strong experience in Microsoft Azure and the .NET stack to support the implementation of Zeta, a modern marketing engagement platform. The ideal candidate will play a key role in integrating Zeta’s APIs, building middleware services, and enabling secure, scalable backend systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable APIs and backend components in .NET Core/.NET 6+ for Zeta platform integration.
- Develop middleware services to orchestrate communication between internal systems and Zeta APIs.
- Implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure using:
- Azure API Management (APIM)
- Azure Functions
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure App Services
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure SQL / Cosmos DB
- Collaborate with Zeta implementation architects, business analysts, and product owners to deliver on integration requirements.
- Ensure compliance with security, logging, and auditing practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to API integrations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
- 4+ years of backend development experience with .NET Core / C#.
- Strong experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integration.
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, especially Azure API Management, Functions, and other integration services.
- Strong understanding of OAuth2, JWT, API security standards, and data protection.
- Proficient with SQL Server / Azure SQL and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Experience in containerization is a plus
