Job Description:

The APAC Finance Team Lead has a strong accounting and finance foundation. They are diligent in their attention to detail, and are able to effectively help finance team members to achieve their daily responsibilities. They are also able to prioritize and lead a small team of individuals executing in this area.

What you’ll do:

  • Be the onsite team lead for the India finance functions of payroll, AP, procurement and tax; which includes -

  • Be a mentor and main point of contact for these team members.

  • Help to work through relevant system and process improvements.

  • Prepare monthly journals for GL accounts across multiple entities (multi-currency) using Netsuite.

  • Ensure we maintain regular oversight of any potential risk and compliance issues within the region.

  • Prepare the APAC subsidiaries’ financial statements for statutory purposes and collaborate with auditors, attorneys, bankers and tax advisors as needed.

  • Review and streamline processes and identify areas for potential improvement within the region.

Experience you’ll bring:

  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills

  • Articulates ideas and conveys information effectively in both individual and group situations

  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

  • Ability to work in a global team environment with different time zones

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of total experience.

  • Experience working in an international environment

  • Experience with multi-currency transactions

  • Solid accounting and technical skills (IFRS, US GAAP, SOX)

  • Proficiency in Netsuite desired, not essential

  • Auditing experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, along with relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA) is a must have.

  • 5 year + of Post Qualification Experience

  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Travel Requirements:

While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
