We are hiring an AI Operations Specialist to help build and scale AI-driven workflows across a fast-growing operations organization.
This is a hands-on builder role for someone who can rapidly design, test, and deploy AI agents, automations, and reusable “skills” using tools like Claude, Zapier, OpenAI, n8n, Make, and related AI platforms.
The ideal candidate is highly practical, fast-moving, and comfortable turning messy business processes into scalable AI-enabled workflows. This person should be able to work independently, identify automation opportunities, and quickly build working solutions.
RequirementsAI Agent & Skill Building
- Build AI agents, automations, and reusable “skills” that reduce manual work
- Rapidly prototype and deploy workflow automations using Claude, Zapier, n8n, Make, OpenAI, and similar tools
- Create AI-powered processes that support operations, administration, research, reporting, and internal workflows
- Integrate AI tools with existing business systems through APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms
- Identify repetitive manual workflows that can be automated or AI-assisted
- Map business processes and redesign them into scalable automated workflows
- Build repeatable systems that can be reused across teams and departments
- Improve speed, accuracy, and consistency of operational processes
- Test, evaluate, and improve AI agents and automations based on output quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot automation failures and improve workflow performance
- Document workflows, prompts, logic, and system instructions clearly
- Stay current on new AI tools and recommend practical ways to implement them
- Work with business and operations teams to understand pain points and translate them into AI solutions
- Train non-technical team members on how to use AI tools and workflows
- Serve as an internal AI automation expert and help drive adoption across the organization
- 3+ years of experience in AI automation, workflow automation, operations, technical implementation, or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Claude
- Strong hands-on experience with Zapier
- Experience building AI agents, automations, or reusable AI workflows
- Familiarity with tools such as OpenAI, ChatGPT, n8n, Make, Airtable, Google Workspace, APIs, webhooks, or similar platforms
- Ability to quickly turn business requirements into working AI-enabled solutions
- Strong process-mapping and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
- Experience building Claude skills, custom GPTs, AI agents, or agentic workflows
- Experience with API integrations and webhook-based automations
- Experience using no-code/low-code automation platforms
- Basic scripting experience with Python or JavaScript
- Experience supporting U.S.-based teams or distributed teams
- Background in operations, business systems, productivity automation, or internal tools
As part of the interview process, candidates must submit or walk through an example of a skill, agent, or automation you have personally built.
The example should ideally include:
- What problem it solved
- Tools used
- Workflow or agent logic
- Business impact or time saved
- Screenshots, demo, Loom video, or live walkthrough if available
- AI agents and automations are built quickly and used by the team
- Manual operational work is meaningfully reduced
- Reusable workflows and skills are documented and scalable
- Teams adopt AI tools more effectively
- The company develops a strong foundation for AI-enabled operations
