Endpoint Management & Configuration
Manage and configure macOS and Linux endpoints for Client employees across IT, Engineering, Finance, and other business units
Deploy, enroll, and maintain devices using Jamf Pro/Now — including MDM profiles, OS updates, app deployment, and compliance policies
Configure local environments for AI tool adoption — setting up Claude Desktop, API keys, local MCP clients, and related tooling on employee machines
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, OS, and application issues on Mac and Linux platforms with fast turnaround
AI Enablement & MCP Support
Support Client employees in configuring and using Claude and MCP (Model Context Protocol) clients on their local machines
Guide users through connecting Claude to MCP servers — troubleshooting auth flows, config files (claude_desktop_config.json), and tool connections
Assist in debugging issues with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) including IDE integration, token/auth errors, and API connectivity
Serve as a first-responder for MCP configuration issues — understanding client-server communication patterns, SSE/stdio transport modes, and local permissions
Developer & Power-User Support
Assist Client engineers with dev environment setup — Homebrew, pyenv/nvm/rbenv, Docker, VS Code extensions, Git configs, SSH key management
Perform bug triage and debugging assistance for environment-specific issues — distinguishing between OS-level, network, dependency, and application-layer problems
Support CLI-first workflows and scripting on bash/zsh — writing and reviewing shell scripts that automate routine configuration tasks
Participate in structured onboarding programs that equip new Client hires with day-one AI-ready setups
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Create and maintain internal runbooks, setup guides, and FAQs for Claude/MCP onboarding
Log recurring issues and contribute to a shared knowledge base for Zensar and Client IT teams
Conduct small-group walkthroughs and demos to accelerate AI tool adoption across non-technical business functions
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Endpoint & Platform Expertise
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting macOS in a corporate environment
Proficiency with Jamf Pro or Jamf Now — MDM enrollment, Smart Groups, policies, patch management, Self Service
Solid understanding of Linux (Ubuntu/Debian/RHEL) for developer workstation support
Experience with enterprise networking basics — VPN, DNS, certificates, proxy settings, firewall rules that commonly affect developer tools
AI & Developer Tooling
Familiarity with modern AI coding tools — Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
Working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts — understanding of what MCP clients and servers do, how to configure them locally, and how to troubleshoot connection issues
Comfort configuring JSON-based tool config files, environment variables, and API keys
Experience with REST APIs at a conceptual level — understanding HTTP methods, auth headers, and reading API error responses
Scripting & Debugging
Bash/Zsh scripting — writing automation scripts, diagnosing path/permission issues, parsing logs
Experience with package managers: Homebrew, apt/yum, pip, npm — resolving conflicts, version pinning
Methodical debugging approach — reading stack traces, checking logs, isolating environment variables
Basic Python or JS scripting to automate endpoint tasks or test API connectivity
NICE TO HAVE
Experience deploying Claude Desktop or Anthropic API in a corporate setting
Familiarity with SSO/IdP integrations (Okta, Azure AD) and how they affect tool authentication
Background in IT at a SaaS or cybersecurity company
Apple ACMT certification or equivalent
Exposure to zero-trust networking concepts (especially relevant in Client's security-focused culture)
