Position Overview

Diebold Nixdorf is seeking a talented Advanced HR Solution Architect to help develop global HR information and data architecture, provide global HR structures governance and develop documentation to ensure effective use of these structures

Reporting to the Senior Manager of HR Technology within People Technology & Operations, the Advanced HR Solution Architect works closely with customers, HR Technology peers and Information Technology to understand business needs, define solutions and implement data architecture. This employee will be a subject matter expert on data elements, data outputs/validation, and requirements management for integrations and reports.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for

  • Act as a solution consultant to business leaders, stakeholders, and HR peers to understand their needs and unique challenges with data.
  • Act as architectural expert for data models, integrations, systems, and reporting requirements, to ensure HR data structures are leveraged appropriately and ‘spirit of need’ is met.
  • Gathering information on best practices, creating design recommendations, supporting proof of concepts, and partnering with information technology application teams to translate requirements into solutions within DN’s HR system (Oracle HCM Cloud).
  • Managing and maintaining HR data solution documentation, including a DN HR data dictionary.
  • Recommending data standards, policies and governance structures for the ongoing management of data.
  • Creating processes to maintain the quality of data and compliance, leading audits and data remediation efforts as necessary.
  • Support transactional and process integrity and act as a consultant for complex HR data transactions and processes (ex: divestitures, eligibility profiles, etc.)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology or similar).
  • 7+ years of relevant experience (ex: HR Information Systems, Information Technology, data management, project management).
  • Advanced Analytical and Problem-Solving Capabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HR, HR systems, HR processes and/or enablement with technology.
  • Expertise in data architecture and solution design.
  • Understanding of and experience in data governance creation and processes.
  • Ability to engage productively with a wide range of program stakeholders, including business leads, customers, vendors, technical design/delivery teams and project managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to document, present, and communicate complex information in a simplified manner to all audiences.
  • Possesses a bias for results and excellence, inspiring confidence and demonstrating conceptual and analytical thinking, initiative and flexibility.
  • Ability to leverage business knowledge, sound judgment, and resourcefulness to determine an appropriate course of action in challenging, ambiguous situations.
  • Project management experience, especially in leading global projects, technology upgrades or implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Fusion suite, and Oracle EBS. (Oracle implementation certifications are valued)
  • Master’s degree in business administration (HR) will be valued.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools, standards and practices.
  • Experience in integrating different systems with Oracle HCM using SOA, OIC, and BI Reports.
  • Progressive experience in systems design, testing, implementation and support within a large, global organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage self and others in activities aimed at streamlining processes, minimizing response time, and increasing resource utilization.
  • Solid understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT business processes and how they impact HR systems and technology.
  • Must have led at least 3 full-scale implementations.
  • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in HR Technology.
  • Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
