Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our dynamic team in Delhi, India. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards and tax laws, including GST regulations
- Implement and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Continuously improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and accounting standards
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in preparing documentation for audits and tax filings
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or ACCA preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and GST regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective time management and planning capabilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in preparing and analyzing financial reports and statements
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus
