Senior Recruiter responsible for building Handshake’s India team across business, operations, and technical functions. Owns full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, stakeholder partnership, interview coordination, candidate logistics, market insights, recruiting metrics, and process development. The role requires evening and overnight interview support, operates from the Bangalore office three days weekly, and works primarily 11 AM to 8 PM IST with flexibility to 10 PM.

Manage the Bangalore office experience, including vendor sourcing and negotiations, food and pantry programs, budgets, onboarding, visitor support, office supplies, housekeeping, team activities, and employee feedback pilots. The role owns daily office operations, improves workplace programs through experimentation, and serves as the primary contact for vendors, visitors, new hires, and employee requests. This is a five-day-per-week, in-office contract position.

Design, build, and operate scalable systems for coding evaluations, AI-generated code analysis, data generation, and agentic development workflows. Develop execution, testing, benchmarking, and quality measurement pipelines; make architectural and operational decisions; improve developer tooling; lead projects from concept through launch; and mentor engineers while maintaining high standards for reliability, security, and maintainability.

Build and scale reinforcement learning environment platforms for frontier AI model training and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing backend services, data generation pipelines, modular simulation environments, and reliable infrastructure. The role involves architecture decisions, observability, performance improvements, and collaboration with engineering, research, product, and operations teams across India and the US.

Manage foundational HR operations for Handshake AI’s Bangalore team, including employee relations, Indian labor-law compliance, policies, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle processes. Resolve routine employee concerns, maintain audit-ready documentation, partner with recruiting and US-based People teams, and escalate complex matters appropriately.

Build, deploy, and maintain customer-facing production software for frontier AI labs. Develop full-stack applications with React, TypeScript, and backend technologies; translate customer requirements into scalable solutions; and improve reliability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with engineering, research, product, operations, and globally distributed teams while contributing to customer deployments and the growth of Handshake AI’s engineering organization in India.

Supports recruiting by coordinating interviews, maintaining accurate hiring-system data, communicating with candidates, and contributing to recruiting projects. The role emphasizes organization, responsiveness, discretion, attention to detail, and a people-first candidate experience. It is based in Bangalore, requires three days onsite weekly, and operates primarily from 11 AM to 8 PM IST, with flexibility until 10 PM.

Leads multi-week to multi-month coding data programs for AI and platform teams. Responsibilities include designing coding assessments, coordinating software engineering fellows, building annotation and code-review workflows, managing QA and customer feedback, tracking delivery, margins and quality, and creating Python, TypeScript, and SQL automation for analytics and reporting.

Own full-cycle recruiting for business, operations, and technical roles in Bangalore. Partner with hiring managers, build local recruiting processes and pipelines, manage evening/overnight interview logistics, and deliver strong candidate experience while scaling the India office.

Owns the growth roadmap for AI-driven products, leading initiatives from strategy through execution to improve revenue, adoption, acquisition, and activation. Designs data-driven experiments, analyzes product and operational metrics, defines success measures with leadership, and builds scalable growth systems and playbooks. Requires cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Operations, and GTM teams, strong autonomy, and availability during U.S. business hours.

Lead end-to-end customer deployments with frontier AI labs: gather requirements, design and build production-grade, scalable systems across stack, partner with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and create reusable tools and deployment patterns to improve model and customer outcomes.

Build and scale the Reinforcement Learning Environments platform: design backend services and data pipelines, create modular simulation domains, improve reliability and observability, partner with US research and product teams, and ship high-quality maintainable code to support model training and evaluation.

As a Strategic Projects Lead, you will manage high-impact AI data initiatives, optimize operations, and enhance customer relationships while collaborating with various teams to drive revenue growth.

Build and maintain customer-facing production software across the full stack. Partner with senior engineers to design, deploy, and iterate scalable solutions using React, TypeScript, relational databases, and cloud platforms.
