Resolve routine employee concerns, maintain audit-ready documentation, partner with recruiting and US-based People teams, and escalate complex matters appropriately.

Build, deploy, and maintain customer-facing production software for frontier AI labs. Develop full-stack applications with React, TypeScript, and backend technologies; translate customer requirements into scalable solutions; and improve reliability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with engineering, research, product, operations, and globally distributed teams while contributing to customer deployments and the growth of Handshake AI’s engineering organization in India.

Supports recruiting by coordinating interviews, maintaining accurate hiring-system data, communicating with candidates, and contributing to recruiting projects. The role emphasizes organization, responsiveness, discretion, attention to detail, and a people-first candidate experience. It is based in Bangalore, requires three days onsite weekly, and operates primarily from 11 AM to 8 PM IST, with flexibility until 10 PM.

Leads multi-week to multi-month coding data programs for AI and platform teams. Responsibilities include designing coding assessments, coordinating software engineering fellows, building annotation and code-review workflows, managing QA and customer feedback, tracking delivery, margins and quality, and creating Python, TypeScript, and SQL automation for analytics and reporting.

Own full-cycle recruiting for business, operations, and technical roles in Bangalore. Partner with hiring managers, build local recruiting processes and pipelines, manage evening/overnight interview logistics, and deliver strong candidate experience while scaling the India office.

Owns the growth roadmap for AI-driven products, leading initiatives from strategy through execution to improve revenue, adoption, acquisition, and activation. Designs data-driven experiments, analyzes product and operational metrics, defines success measures with leadership, and builds scalable growth systems and playbooks. Requires cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, Operations, and GTM teams, strong autonomy, and availability during U.S. business hours.

Lead end-to-end customer deployments with frontier AI labs: gather requirements, design and build production-grade, scalable systems across stack, partner with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and create reusable tools and deployment patterns to improve model and customer outcomes.

Build and scale the Reinforcement Learning Environments platform: design backend services and data pipelines, create modular simulation domains, improve reliability and observability, partner with US research and product teams, and ship high-quality maintainable code to support model training and evaluation.

As a Strategic Projects Lead, you will manage high-impact AI data initiatives, optimize operations, and enhance customer relationships while collaborating with various teams to drive revenue growth.
