Lead technical strategy, roadmaps, and end-to-end execution for large Analytics Platform programs. Translate business objectives into technical systems problems, prioritize initiatives, shape architecture, and partner with engineers and architects. Manage cross-company dependencies and program lifecycles, including scope, forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, capacity planning, migrations, performance, reliability, and high availability.

Performs manual white-box penetration testing, application security assessments, vulnerability hunting, and code reviews across Atlassian software, platforms, and services. Partners with security, engineering, and infrastructure teams to validate technical controls and strengthen security. The role requires understanding web application and cloud security, coding in Java, Python, or Go, leading projects, mentoring practitioners, and communicating with technical teams.

Provides technical leadership for complex full-stack engineering initiatives from design through launch. Owns architecture decisions, establishes engineering standards, leads cross-team projects, champions technical excellence, shares best practices, mentors engineers, and considers customer impact. The role requires deep experience building reliable, secure, observable systems at scale and familiarity with A/B testing.
