Pikndel, a Delhi-based e-commerce startup, has raised a $1 million seed round led by VC Grid, an investment firm with over 90 closed deals. Prior to the new round, the company raised $445,000 in funding across two angel rounds.

Founded in 2022, Pikndel offers rapid delivery services from other e-commerce brands nationwide. Its solutions include one-hour, same-day and next-day deliveries, which it achieves through its dark stores. The company’s dark stores are strategic fulfillment centers that pick, pack and deliver goods. However, to optimize them for fast deliveries, it enables brands to pick locations where they have a large customer base.

Additionally, Pikndel provides a user-friendly management dashboard through which clients like Purple.com and Lenskart can observe their shipping operations.

According to reporting from ITLN, an India-based logistics news site, the fresh funding will help the company expand beyond Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru in addition to scaling its software.
