SRE Engineer, Remote

Joist AI is a technology company revolutionizing the way professionals in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry manage marketing and revenue operations. Our AI-powered software streamlines workflows, making it easier for teams to collaborate, innovate, and succeed.

We’re looking for a skilled Junior SRE Engineer to help build and scale our cloud infrastructure. You’ll work on automating deployments, managing AWS environments, and implementing Infrastructure as Code to ensure reliability, performance, and efficiency across our systems.

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency, scalability, and repeatability.

• Streamline release and deployment workflows, ensuring smooth, structured, and predictable releases.

• Enhance observability, tracing, and monitoring across systems for improved performance and reliability.

• Drive automation initiatives across infrastructure, access management, and database operations.

• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs, ensuring efficient use of compute, storage, and database resources.

• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring faster, safer, and more reliable deployments.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure infrastructure supports evolving application and data needs.

• 2-3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering.

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred) and automation frameworks.

• Understanding of IaC principles, CI/CD systems, and containerization workflows.

• A focus on observability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and ownership mindset.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
