PATH is seeking a Finance Analyst- Financial Planning & Analysis position based in New-Delhi. The Finance Analyst is a critical member of PATH’s Financial Planning & Analysis team of the India Country Program. The Finance Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of periodical financial reports, and variance analysis, supporting the organizational budgeting process, preparation of data for periodic financial reviews, and maintaining the project tracker.
The Finance Analyst will be supporting the development of various tools for project tracking and developing reports or dashboards using data visualization tools like Power Bi. The Finance Analyst cultivates and develops relationships with PATH staff in India and provides specific support in meeting the information needs of the management.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning, Analysis, Reporting, and Actions

Prepare a monthly Project Status Report and explain the reason for variance based on the relevant information collected from the project team.

Update the Project Financial Dashboard in Power Bi.

Update and maintain the project tracker at the portfolio level and provide information to Project Leads and Project Administrators.

Provide data to the project team as and when required.

Prepare presentations for monthly review meetings.

Prepare the financial reports and submit them to HQ for review meetings.

Support in developing and revising complex reporting templates for tracking various data and providing a report to the management.

Prepare and maintain the expenditure trend analysis report and provide critical information to the management for decision making.

Support the management in the annual budgeting and Quarterly Business Review process.

Keep track of the project budget entered in Business World and find out the reason for changes, if any.

Conduct various financial analyses and generate reports and highlight critical issues periodically.

Highlight the various issues in the accounting software to ensure quality data capturing
Data visualization:

Support developing various financial reports and dashboards in Power Bi using the data warehouse maintained by PATH HQ.

Prepare various presentations effectively using excel, other software, and the latest technology.

Assist in the automation of existing reports.

Preparation of financial forecast.

Preparation of interactive dashboards using multiple databases.
Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience overall with a minimum of 2 years in developing reports and dashboards using any Business intelligence tools.

Post Graduate degree in business administration or accounting or finance or data analytics or other relevant.

Advanced knowledge of Power Bi.

Advanced knowledge of developing dashboards and report generation using Excel, PowerPoint, BI tools, etc.

Demonstrated skills and ability to develop, review and revise presentations within a short turnaround.

Strong business acumen and report writing skills.

Strong analytical and business modeling skills.

Knowledge of general accounting and the ability to communicate and articulate those principles is desirable.

Excellent attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure with competing deadlines.

Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Salesforce, with advanced knowledge of spreadsheets using Excel.

Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal).

Ability to establish rapport and effective, efficient working relationships within multiple team-oriented environments.
Location: New Delhi
Must have legal authorization to work in India.
